River Road Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration- Integrated Feasibility Report and Environmental Assessment

River Road Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration is a Continuing Authorities Program (CAP) Section 206 project. The study aims to investigate and determine modifications that would improve the severely degraded habitat structure and function of the River Road segment of the San Antonio River, San Antonio, Texas. The study officially started with the signing of the Feasibility Cost Share Agreement between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the San Antonio River Authority on 24 September 2018. The Tentatively Selected Plan was confirmed as the Recommended Plan at the Agency Decision Milestone on 9 September 2021.

A signing ceremony for the River Road Project in San Antonio, Texas was held on June 2 at the Fort Worth District Office, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. General Manager for the San Antonio River Authority, Derek Boese and Fort Worth District Commander Colonel Paul Culberson were the signing officials.
