The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District (USACE), has initiated a disposition study for the R.D. Willis Powerhouse at B.A. Steinhagen Lake, Jasper and Tyler Counties, Texas. This disposition study is being conducted pursuant to Section 216 of the Flood Control Act of 1970 (P.L. 91-611), which authorizes the review of operations of completed projects when found advisable due to significantly changed physical or economic conditions.
