USACE to host in person public workshop review of the Jim Chapman Lake and White Oak Creek Mitigation Area Master Plan revision

The Fort Worth District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) will host a public meeting on February 27, at The Hopkins County Regional Civic Center, 1200 Houston Street, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482 to provide information and receive public input on the Draft Jim Chapman (Cooper) Lake and White Oak Creek Mitigation Area Master Plan and Environmental Assessment.

Belton Lake’s Camping Fees to Increase

Officials with the Fort Worth District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today that effective April 1, fees at Belton Lake will be increasing for camping sites and group day use pavilions at all parks.

Officials with the Fort Worth District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today that effective April 1, fees at Stillhouse Hollow Lake will be increasing in Union Grove Park, Dana Peak Park, and Stillhouse Park.

Sycamore Creek Aquatic Habitat Mitigation Begins

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers officials at the Fort Worth District, along with officials from the Tarrant Regional Water District, earlier this year placed more than 150 native species plants at the start of the Sycamore Creek Aquatic Habitat Mitigation project.
