On December 2, 2013, the Fort Worth District Commander determined that the acceptance and expenditure of funds from the City of San Antonio would be in accordance with Section 214 of WRDA 2000 and would serve the public interest through cost-effectiveness, enhanced evaluation and capability, streamlined permit processing, or other appropriate justification.
