FORT WORTH, Texas – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District, in cooperation with their sponsors, the Trinity River Vision Authority and The University of Arlington, Procurement Technical Assistance Center, will host its eighth annual Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Networking Forum on May 1 to provide networking with and inform SDVOSBs of opportunities with contractors who frequently do business with the Corps.
The forum is FREE and planned for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fritz G. Lanham Federal Building, located at 819 Taylor Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76102 – Room 4A14H. Public parking for a fee is available nearby.
“The Fort Worth District’s Small Business Program is one of the key contributors to the state and U.S. economy and a very vital part of the Corps’ procurement process,” said Fort Worth Deputy District Commander, LTC Clay Morgan.
“Many of the small business owners participating in the forum are Veterans who have already served their country and they continue that service by establishing businesses that serve their communities.”
Other agencies participating in the forum include the Small Business Administration, Veterans Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, General Services Administration and Federal Emergency Management Agency.
