MEDIA ADVISORY: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Fiscal 2016 Civil Works budget press conference scheduled

Washington (January 30, 2015) – The United States Army Corps of Engineers’ press conference to release details of President Obama’s Fiscal 2016 Budget for the Army’s Civil Works program is scheduled for Monday, February 2, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The press conference will take place at the USACE headquarters in the Government Accountability Office building, 441 G Street NW, Washington, D.C., 20314.  Attendees must enter on the G Street side of the building.

The Honorable Jo-Ellen Darcy, Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works, and Lt. Gen. Thomas P. Bostick, USACE Commanding General, will speak at the press conference.  Other key individuals available for comment will include Maj. Gen. John W. Peabody, USACE Deputy Commanding General for Civil and Emergency Operations, Mr. Eric V. Hansen, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Management and Budget) in the Office of the ASA(CW), and Mr. Mark L. Mazzanti, Chief of the USACE Civil Works Programs Integration Division.
