Corps of Engineers to temporarily close Miller Springs Park at Belton Lake for construction

FORT WORTH, Texas – The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers at Belton Lake will temporarily close Miller Springs Park, the park area below Belton Dam, beginning November 1, due to construction activities associated with repairs to the Belton Dam stilling basin. 

The temporary closure is a necessary safety precaution due to construction activities in the area. 

The park is expected to reopen by April 1, 2015 or as soon as work is finished.
