U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announcing the winter park plan

FORT WORTH, Texas – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Forth Worth District, announced today the winter seasonal park closures for Belton and Stillhouse Lakes. The below changes were results of a public information exchange, 30 day public feedback period and coordination with local organizations. The below parks will be closed starting October 1 through February 28 for the winter season.  All other areas will remain open. Comments and concerns should be directed to the Belton/Stillhouse Lake office at (254) 939-2461, 3740 FM 1670, Belton TX 76513.
