Corps closes Environmental Learning Center at Stillhouse Hollow Lake for construction

FORT WORTH, Texas – The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District, will temporarily close Chalk Ridge Falls Environmental Learning Center at Stillhouse Hollow Lake beginning Nov. 25 due to construction associated with repairs to the Stillhouse Hollow Dam Stilling Basin.  The learning center is expected to reopen by Feb. 26, 2014 or as soon as the work is finished.

The temporary closure is necessary for public safety due to construction activities in the area during the time period.
