Officials with the Fort Worth District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today that the Belton Lake Project Office is planning to temporarily close Lakeview Park boat ramp October 20-28 to allow for contractors to complete scheduled work.
Contractors will be utilizing the boat ramp in Belton Lakeview Park. This work will require large equipment operation and equipment staging at the ramp. To ensure public safety, USACE will be temporarily closing the boat ramp to vehicle and pedestrian traffic during this time. Once all work is completed, the boat ramp will re-open for public use. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time.
Available alternative ramp locations include Arrowhead, Cedar Ridge, Rogers, Temple's Lake, Westcliff, and White Flint Parks.
