Officials with the Fort Worth District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Canyon Lake are closing Boat Ramp 17 due to dropping lake levels. The closure will be effective Friday, November 3.
The staff at Canyon Lake will continue to monitor parks and boat ramps and will provide updates about changes to recreation facility operations.
The USACE team at Canyon Lake encourages visitors to practice leave-no-trace, use designated trash receptacles and to always wear a life jacket while boating or anytime you are in or near the water.
