FORT WORTH, Texas -- The Fort Worth District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Project Office at Belton Lake will host its inaugural Archery Deer Hunting season from November 11 thru December 15, 2023.
The Corps will issue permits to 25 hunters who will be eligible to hunt white-tailed deer at selected U.S. Army Corps of Engineers managed lands at Belton Lake during the specified season. Hunters must enter the lottery through Recreation.gov. at https://www.recreation.gov/permits/5202020. The lottery permit application period opens today and closes September 30, 2023. A $10 non-refundable fee will be required for entry in the lottery. An additional $10 fee will be required for those selected to receive a permit.
