USACE announces additional comment period for San Pedro Creek Project

Fort Worth, Texas -  Fort Worth District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Officials announced today another comment period under section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act for the San Pedro Creek Project, part of the San Antonio Channel Improvement Project.

The project is located on San Pedro Creek in Bexar County, in the City of San Antonio, Texas and is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers federally authorized Civil Works project, subject to Section 408, Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. USACE is soliciting comments from all parties having an interest in the undertaking’s effect on historic property 41BX2359. A previous public notice and request for comment regarding this undertaking was published on January 21, 2021. Due to technical error, comments submitted via email were not received and should be resubmitted to Leslie.Crippen@usace.army.mil. Comments submitted via the project website or via regular mail have been received and do not need to be resubmitted.

Written comments on the enclosed documentation and potential minimization and mitigation measures are requested on or before the close of the comment period. Comments should reference the Section 408 Request ID # and project name. Comments and requests for additional information should be submitted to CESWF-PEE-C, ATTN: Ms. Leslie Crippen, P.O.
