Canyon Lake announces temporary floodgate closure for routine maintenance

The US Army Corps of Engineers at Canyon Lake will close its floodgates on Thursday, January 9 to perform maintenance on the flood control tower. 

The flood gate closures will effect local river flows and the Corps understands this work may impact some river users. 

“We appreciate the public's understanding and support of this mission essential maintenance work, said Canyon Lake manager,” Javier E. Pérez Ortiz.
