U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the Fort Worth District announce today the availability of the 2019/2020 hunting guide.

The hunting guide is available at https://www.swf.usace.army.mil/Portals/47/docs/About/Lakes%20and%20Recreations/SWF_2019-2020_Hunting_Guide.pdf and should be reviewed prior to hunting on Corps of Engineer land. Some new hunting areas have been added this year and each lake to be hunted on should be reviewed prior to your hunt.

- We remind all hunters to keep safety as their top priority and to follow all hunting laws. Texas Parks and Wildlife Division’s hunter information is available at https://tpwd.texas.gov/huntwild/hunt/.

- Hunters are responsible for knowing where property boundaries are and should be reminded that it is illegal to shoot across property lines.

- All hunters should be respectful of adjacent landowners, other hunters, and any other recreational users and use common courtesy when in the field.

- Hunters are encouraged to report any illegal activities that are occurring and to do their part to preserve hunting opportunities on public land.

USACE also advises caution when ever on or near the water. As always, visitors are encouraged to wear a life jacket, follow warning signs, and be aware of their surroundings. All of the Fort Worth District dams and lakes continue to operate as designed.

For more information read the hunting guide at https://www.swf.usace.army.mil/Portals/47/docs/About/Lakes%20and%20Recreations/SWF_2019-2020_Hunting_Guide.pdf or call your local lake office (https://www.swf.usace.army.mil/About/Lakes-and-Recreation-Information/).
