Jim Chapman Lake/Cooper Dam road to close temporarily August 8-10

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers officials at Jim Chapman Lake/Cooper Dam announce today the temporary closure of the road that crosses the dam, County Road 4795 and Farm to Market Road 1529.  

Corps of Engineer specialists from the Huntington District will be surveying the center line pins on the roadway from August 8 to 10 and for the safety of the people conducting the survey and the public the road will be closed.

Patience and understanding during this temporary closure is appreciated.
