USACE announces temporary park closures for road and boat ramp repairs

Published March 13, 2019

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Belton and Stillhouse Hollow Lake will temporarily close Miller Spring Park beginning March 18, 2019 until March 22, 2019.  For public safety, the road will be closed because construction crews will be repairing the road shoulders. If the contractor is able to complete work sooner, the road will be opened.

Additionally, boaters should expect temporary closures at boat ramps (Belton, Rogers and Union Grove) for one to two days for road resurfacing. These repairs and other park resurfacing will be expected in the next three weeks as the weather allows.

For more information, please contact the Belton and Stillhouse Hollow Lakes Office at (254) 939-2461.
