FORT WORTH, Texas – The Fort Worth District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) will host an ‘Industry Day’ on Aug. 1 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Lewisville Lake Office and vicinity located at 1801 N. Mill Street, Lewisville, Texas 75057.
This event is not restricted to small businesses. Contractors can attend the no-charge event to learn about opportunities and required qualifications to work on the upcoming USACE Lewisville Dam Safety Modification project.
The day will begin with a presentation at the Lewisville Lake Office to explain the project, solicitation process and requirements for contractors. A site visit will immediately follow after the presentation to the embankment areas. Participants wishing to go on the site tour are encouraged to dress in work or casual attire with closed toe shoes suitable for walking.
