FORT WORTH, Texas – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Waco Lake recently installed pay stations at Twin Bridges Park to collect entry fees. Previously, customers paid entry fees upon arrival or provided their annual pass for entry.
With the addition of pay stations, the customer will now enter the main gate of the park, locate a designated parking space, and pay the required entry fee at the nearest pay station. Park entry will remain $5 per car. The newly installed pay stations will accept credit cards or coins.
As a reminder, Twin Bridges Park accepts the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Annual Day Use pass and America the Beautiful pass. These passes can be purchased at any U.S. Army Corps of Engineers operated park. Volunteers and park rangers will continue to work within the park answering questions and checking vehicle for permitted parking. Visitors without proper pay station receipts or passes will receive citations.
For more information about the pay stations or parks at Waco Lake, contact the Waco Lake project office at (254) 756-5359. As always, when visiting the lake for any recreational activity, visitors are encouraged to wear a lifejacket.
