U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announce work to begin at Navarro Mills Lake

FORT WORTH, Texas – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District will begin repairs behind the dam at Navarro Mills Lake to repair the discharge channel slope and fishing platform on Jan. 12, 2018. Access to the stilling basin entrance road, parking area, and fishing platform will be closed until construction is complete. Repairs are estimated to take up to six months to complete, weather permitting.

As always, when visiting the lake for any recreational activity, visitors are encouraged to wear a lifejacket. For more information on the closure, contact the Navarro Mills project office at (254) 578-1431.
