Temporary closure of hike and bike trail at Waco Lake due to road repairs

FORT WORTH, Texas – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers representatives at Waco Lake announce the temporary closure of Hike and Bike Trail across Waco Lake Dam. Public Safety is a priority at Waco Lake and this closure is necessary to complete road repairs. The closure will begin October 23, 2017 and will re-open once the work is completed. The Waco Lake Project Office ask all persons observe restricted area signage.  

 As always, visitors are encouraged to wear a life jacket, follow warning signs, and be aware of their surroundings. For more information on Waco Lake, call the project office at 254-756-5359.
