Construction activities temporarily close Chalk Ridge Falls Park at Stillhouse Hollow Lake

FORT WORTH, Texas – The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers at Stillhouse Hollow Lake will temporarily close Chalk Ridge Falls Park, located below Stillhouse Hollow Dam, beginning November 14 due to construction activities associated with erosion repairs to the stilling basin and installing new vehicle barricades. Construction is scheduled to last 90 days and the park will reopen as soon as work is finished. 

The temporary closure is necessary because of public safety due to construction activities in the area.
