U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Project Offices at Belton and Stillhouse Hollow Lakes are currently experiencing lower than normal lake levels. Due to these conditions, swim beaches and various boat ramps may be closed throughout the summer season. With the summer boating season just around the corner we would like to remind boaters to slow down and be on the lookout for obstructions. Tree stumps and sandbars that have been long submerged are now emerging as drought conditions persist. When in doubt, slow down and always wear a life jacket!
