Sycamore Creek Ecosystem Restoration
Research biologists with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Fort Worth District, plant native species trees and perenials on the prarie flats and along the riverbanks of Sycamore Creek, a tributary of Trinty River, in Fort Worth Texas, Jan. 20, 2023. This restoration project, which restores the Sycamore Creek connection to West Fork Trinity River, is one of the first phases under the overall Central City flood risk mitigation plan since funding was provided by the FY22 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
