Cub Scouts at Grapevine Lake
FLOWER MOUND, Texas (Nov. 7, 2020) Natural Resource Specialist Phil Ledbetter explains how sandstone rocks are formed to Cub Scout Pack 134, Webelo Den 5 out of Haslet, Texas, part of the Boy Scouts of America Longhorn Council, at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District Grapevine Lake’s Murrell Park. The scouts visited Grapevine Lake as part of a group conservation project, which included a garden clean up, education on pollinator gardens and the planting of seeds from native Texas plants, as well as water safety activities all with Fort Worth District staff members.
