The Fort Worth District inspection team walked more than 22 miles of Dallas Floodway levees as part of the Periodic Inspection No. 10 this year. Systems enrolled in the Corps’ Levee Safety Program are inspected every year, with a more intensive periodic inspection every five years, to ensure they will perform as designed.
