Office of Small Business Programs

The Fort Worth District fully supports the Government’s policy of placing a fair proportion of our contracts with qualified small, small disadvantaged, women-owned, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran owned, and Historically Black College and Universities/Minority Institutions. We consider Small business to be the heart of the U.S. economy and a very vital part of the Corps’ procurement process. To that end Carolyn L. Staten has been appointed Deputy, Office of Small Business Programs (DOSBP) for the Fort Worth District. Her role is to “aid, counsel, assist and protect, insofar as is possible, the interests of small business concerns in order to preserve free competitive enterprise, to ensure that a fair proportion of the total purchases and contracts or subcontracts for property and services for the Government be placed with small business enterprises.”

A Standard Form 330 – Architect-Engineer Qualifications (SF 330) is required.
SF 330, Part I – Contract-Specific Qualifications (MUST BE IN RESPONSE TO EACH INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENT)
SF 330, Part II – General Qualifications – HIGHLY SUGGEST you place SF 330, Part II in Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA)
SF 330 Form available on-line at: http://www.gsa.gov/forms.
SF 330 software packages are available from a variety of vendors.

Help Hints & Reminders when filling out the SF 330:

1. Both prime and sub consultants must sign and date the SF 330
2. Prime consults must verify their sub consultants when submitting their package.
3. Separate DUNS and CAGE codes are required for each office or new Joint/Venture when submitting your package.

CURRENT CERTIFICATIONS

At the present time, there are three categories of small business that must have certifications from the Small Business Administration before their status in those categories will be accepted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
