U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announce $3.16M contract award

FORT WORTH, Texas – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District announced today the award of a $3.16M contract for the Henderson Street and White Settlement Road Channel Piers. The contract was awarded to N.A.E. Enterprises, Inc. of Springtown, Texas.  N.A.E. Enterprises is a disadvantaged 8(a) women-owned small business.

Work being performed will include drilling 60 battered and 30 vertical piers for the foundation of the channel hardwall that is needed to be in place prior to the completion of the bridges. Completion of the piers is timed phased to be completed by the end of July 2015 in order for bridge construction to continue.
