Corps of Engineers to close Miller Springs Park temporarily at Belton Lake for construction

FORT WORTH, Texas – The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers at Belton Lake will temporarily close Miller Springs Park, beginning December 1, 2014 due to planned construction.

The park, located below Belton Dam will close as a public safety precaution to support construction activities to clear vegetation on the dam and to make repairs to the stilling basin. 

The park is expected to reopen by April 1, 2015 or as soon as work is finished.
