The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Canyon Lake has rescheduled gate replacement work that was planned for this year.
The gates are functioning as designed and priority in sequence of repairs has changed. Work on the control tower service bridge will precede gate replacement work. As a result of this change, USACE does not anticipate disruptions to river flow releases that would have resulted from the gate replacement work. USACE intends to change over low flow releases to the Guadalupe Blanco River Authority later this week.
