USACE officials at Waco Lake announce reopening of Hike and Bike Trail

FORT WORTH, Texas – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers representatives at Waco Lake announced today the Hike and Bike Trail across Waco Lake Dam will reopen September 2. The area had been closed temporarily and additional closures for repairs may be necessary in the future. Visitors are advised to access the trail through designated entry points at the Middle Hike and Bike trail access, Skeet Eason Road, and Lake Shore Drive. Access to the trail from Bosque Park is not permitted. Visitors are reminded to stay on the trail and follow direction of posted signage.
