FORT WORTH, Texas – The National Recreation Reservation Service’s Recreation.gov website has been reopened and is now operational.

Each facility is being reviewed and the impacted reservations that were within the shutdown period October 1-16, will be cancelled and the customer issued a full refund for all reservations that were scheduled entirely within the timeframe of the shutdown.

Customers with reservations that started during the shutdown and ended on October 17, 2013 or later may still use the remainder of their reservation if the park is open. Customers will be fully refunded for the unused portion during the shutdown.

Customers may also request a cancellation for their entire reservation and will be refunded in full with no service fees.
