CANYON LAKE, Texas -- Fort Worth District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers officials at Canyon Lake announced today that Overlook Park will be closed on Wednesday, July 21, for maintenance.
Contractors are scheduled to conduct repairs and work is expected to be completed in one day. Visitors can access the area by foot from the North Park Road entrance; however, parking is very limited at that location. Please stay clear of any active stripping operations while visiting the area.
“We appreciate the public’s patience and understanding while this much needed maintenance work is accomplished,” said Canyon Lake Manager Javier E. Pérez Ortiz.
