Army Corps of Engineers and Texas Parks and Wildlife Deploy Fisheries Habitat Structures at Lewisville Lake
LEWISVILLE, Texas (May 5, 2021) - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District’s Lewisville and Grapevine Lake staffs partnered with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Inland Fisheries Division May 5 to deploy fisheries habitat structures at Lewisville Lake. The team deployed 27 fisheries structures in five strategic locations around Lewisville Lake. The fisheries structure deployment was the last stage for the Lewisville Lake Fisheries Restoration project in which the Lewisville Lake field office was awarded a $30,000 grant from the Friends of Reservoirs.
